Evaluation - What Have You Learned From Your Audience Feedback?

To get a feel for what the people are saying a mini questionnaire was filled from anonymous people on their thoughts judging the film This will help me judge what my target audience will want to see and will ask direct questions. For example what they liked and so forth. 5 people answered each question.
Below are the submissions:

How could I Improve the film?

  1. More violence
  2. Dialogue needed
  3. Jump Scares
  4.  Faster paced action
  5. Shown the death of the boyfriend

What made the film excel?
  1. Acting
  2. The way the demon appears behind her all of a sudden
  3. Use of non diagetic sounds
  4. The necklace was a nice touch especially when it lands upright
  5. The box being showed at the start with all the evil murmurs

Would you recommend to a friend?
  1. Yes
  2. Yes something different
  3. Yes
  4. If there's nothing else to watch then yeah
  5. No
From 1-10 what would you rate the film?
  1. 10
  2. 9
  3. 7
  4. 5
  5. 4
From the magazine and the poster would it entice you watch it?
  1. Yeah for sure its not the typical poster
  2. Yes as the poster doesn't tell you a lot giving you mystery and wanting to find out more
  3. yes intrigued by the necklace on display
  4. The magazine is interesting but unusual maybe
  5. Not really doesn't tell me much to be drawn to it
Overall from this analysis of audience feedback it seems that generally the target audience are happy with the film but suggested some adjustments that I could make with a longer time gap. With some of the criticisms I agreed that dialogue could have been added to really grasp the attention of the audience however I'm happy with the outcome of the product. Something I definitely would change if I were to do it again will be introducing more jump scares and to follow that convention as it does very well in the most popular films such as the conjuring because people remember the films with jump scares that take them off their seats
